0600hrs – Pick up at respective hotel and proceed ascending to Kinabalu Park (UNESCO World heritage site) to search the Mountain endemic Borneo birds such as Chesnut-hooded Laughingthrush, Whitehead Trogon, Whitehead Broadbill, Chestnut-crested Yuhina, Crimson headed Partridge, Borneon Forktail, Borneon flowerpecker and many more Mountain Endemic Borneo birds species that can be found in Kinabalu Park. Lunch will be inside the park at Liwagu restaurant. Continue the birdwatching activity to find more birds inside the park. Dinner will be at Liwagu restaurant. After

0600hrs – Early breakfast. Continue the birdwatching activity at Kinabalu Park to search more birds in the morning. Check out and lunch. Proceed the drive to Telupid and check in at Forestry Institute (Institut Perhutanan Sabah). Dinner will be at Local restaurant in Telupid town.

After breakfast drive to Bestaria village to see the Borneon Peacock pheasant which is this bird is critically endangered species bird and rare endemic bird in Borneo. Drive to the village from Telupid town approximately 20-30 minutes. Another drive using the villager 4wd to the forest reserve and another 40 minutes hike to the Borneon Peacock pheasant hide. Back to IPS afterwards.

After breakfast, proceed the journey to Imbak Canyon Conservation Area (ICCA) which is this forest is a primary forest where you can see more lowland endemic birds such as Blue-headed Pitta, Black-crowned Pitta and many more interesting birds that you can see inside ICCA. You will do the registration at ICCA information center before proceed to the center. The journey will take another approximately 2 and half hours drive through the villages and forest reserve to reach the destination. Check in to the room and birding activity just around the lodge or on the main road. Night safari drive activity after dinner. Rest afterwards.

0600hrs early breakfast. Slowly walk along the road and enter the Imbak falls trail to search more bird. You might will see Blue-headed Pitta, few species of hornbill, few species of Broadbills, Babblers, and many more. Back to the lodge for lunch. 1430hrs continue to do the birdwatching activity at belian trail where you will see more species of interesting birds such as trogons, drongos, and partridges. Dinner at 1900hrs. After dinner, night walk activity to search more nocturnal birds. Rest afterwards.

0600hrs early breakfast. Continue birding until 1000hrs for packing to check out at 1200hrs. Proceed the journey to Rainforest Discovery Center (RDC), Sepilok, Sandakan. Check in at Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort. Free at leisure after dinner.

After breakfast, go to RDC for birdwatching activity. There is a canopy walkway in the center and few towers that make you to spot the birds much easier. You might will see the Borneon Bristlehead, hornbills, woodpeckers and Birds of prey from the canopy walkway. You might will just have a lunch inside the center, because you will continue the birdwatching in the center afterwards. Back to lodge for dinner and refreshing. Night walk activity will be at the center to find nocturnal birds. You might will see few species of owl that hunting at the during the activity. Rest afterwards.

0700hrs breakfast. Proceed the drive to Lahad Datu town and do the check in registration at Utan Rainforest Lodge (URL) office. Lunch at Lahad Datu town. Another 2.5 hours drive to reach tha lodge. You will drive through the oil palm plantation. Last 45 minutes will be the gravel road before reach the lodge. In Sabah (Borneo), only this place that almost give you guarantee to see the Borneon Ground Cuckoo (BGC) which is this bird is rare bird and very hard to see at other places in Borneo, except this place. Private night safari drive after dinner to search more nocturnal birds such as, Nightjars, owls, Frogmouths and nocturnal animals.

0600hrs light breakfast. 0630hrs slowly walk to the Borneon Ground Cuckoo hide (just 10 minutes walk from the lodge). Packed breakfast is arrange able, so that, you can have you breakfast while waiting for the BGC coming out from the forest to the feeding ground. Back to the lodge for lunch afterwards. 1500hrs go to another hide for Sabah partridge, Borneon crested fireback and Black crowned pitta. These bird’s is endemic in Borneo. After dinner, Private night safari drive again to search nocturnal birds and mammals. Rest

0600hrs early breakfast. Continue birding until 1000hrs. Back to the lodge and packing. 1130hrs Lunch. 1200hrs check out to Lahad Datu and take flight back to Kota Kinabalu at 1635hrs (LDU-BKI). Fetch up at KKIA and send to the respective hotel. End of service.
